- Opponent grabs hand to counter.
- Defender uses the attackers own stick to strike and clear the opponent's checking.

I'm sure I know this, but I can't quite picture it! Do you mean by under to grab with a palm-up grip, or to grab low on the stick, near the opponent's hand?
