Watched my first Modern Arnis class today

====================

I gotta say, I was impressed :) It looks like fun LOL!! It was interesting to see how easily a person can be taken down, or locked up. I'm also going to start taking jujitsu at the school as well(not the BJJ)/ My base art is Kenpo and I think Modern Arnis and jujitsu would be a good combo. I've been out of the martial arts for a number of years and would like to get back into something. I've always had an interest in FMA, and can't believe there modern arnis in my area! Can't wait for my first class :)

It's always good to see another person joining Modern Arnis! Despite the Professor's passing, the art continues to attract new players. That pleases me greatly!

The art really is magnificent. But Professor Presas' legacy is not just in his art, it's also in the hearts of the many talented students that he instructed to walk forwards, to take on students of their own, and teach them effectively enough to rouse their own interest and passion about the art...and then teaching them to walk forwards and take on students of their own...

Its more than just the art, Arnisador. It's also instructors like you breathing life in to every move. :)
