Is there a link that members can use to point friends towards FMAtalk, and get credit for the referral?

I can't seem to find my member ID number. Am I missing something really obvious? Somehow I'm worried that I am. :)

If you click on your name, you should see a web address pop up, with a u=xxx where xxx is your user number. Will look into a better way tonight.

Is the link supposed to go to the main FMAtalk page?

I think I see what's going on. The referral page says

The administrator may have enabled referrals, which allows you to be credited for any new users you invite to the forum.

You gain referrals by promoting FMATalk using your unique referral link.

The link you should use as your referral link is this:
http://FMATalk.com/index.php?referrerid=XXX where XXX is your id number.

However, that link just brings the user to the main page of FMATalk.

If the link used is http://fmatalk.com/register.php?referrerid=334 then this brings the user to the registration page, and gives me credit for the referral.

The link used, should be the latter, yes?

yes though the former should still give you credit, IF they sign up.
