Titanium teeth? Sounds like something out of a movie. Does anybody have any more info on this aspect of military dogs? Can a dog exert enough force with their jaws to necessitate titanium teeth? Is it proven that these chompers can penetrate enemy body armor? I guess what i'm getting at is why aren't the doggies good ol' fashioned pearly whites good enough to subdue bad guys? It seems to work well on COPS. Do these dogs risk breaking teeth each time they take out a bad guy? Are that many targets armored? Are the titanium teeth really all that better?
I know I just asked way too many questions to really expect them all to be answered. I don't want to sound like a conspiracy nut or anything but I know how the press sometimes loves to pass on info that sounds cool and grabs attention. Can anyone verify the fact that military dogs really get titanium teeth?...and maybe give a reason why?

Your questioning mind here appears to be on target. I have seen a blog which dialed in on the same point and asserted that such teeth would be relevant only in the case of damage to the original equipment granted by Dog Gods , , ,
