This section caught my attention. It's an invitation to all for a competition in Manila. Full Contact, no pads, no refs, no time limits, until submission.


The PTK trademark is to fight against all flags regardless of style, either in no armour or bare live stick in a surrender policy, no timetable, no referre , no judges, no rules. On 2007 , those who may read this section , should inform all styles to register for the 109th World kali Test of Skill to be held in Metro Manila-Philippines to be Sponsored by the Philippine Marine Corps and the Special Action force Commandos PNP. those who profess to be Grandmaster should register and invited so that a true real grandmaster can be identified and possibly can be in one accord of filipino culture.
Filipinos cannot be united religiously, politically, religiously, socially so lets try -Philosophically , the last is challenge each Ideology.
So, those who may read this email them to all FMA style , they have enough time to think it over.

More concern would be if it actually happens. This is supposed to be the 109th yet there hasn't been coverage, wirte-ups, clips etc. on the past 108. I remember an announcement over 10 years ago. However, I also recall that it was a no show and was cancelled.

AM i crazy or just think that PI masters never challenge there repective conterparts or systems? there is room for many grandmasters because in PI and many countries there are true grandmasters so why should just one be appointed? am i reading this wrong?

I'm not sure that the 109 refers to the "tests of skill." 2007 is the 109th anniversery of the PTK system according to Tuhon Gaje, though the way it was written in the blog it certainly sounded like the test of skill is an annual event, I dunno.

Ah, then "109th World Kali Test of Skill" would have been better worded as PTK's 109th Anniversary Celebration including a "World Kali Test of Skill" event. I can definately see where confusion may rest. Thank for the input Lamont!
