Hello there FMA-practitioners around the world...

I have been a member of fma-talk for quite some time, so i thought i should introduce myself a bit.

I began to study fma 2001 in Norrköping, Sweden with my instructors, i trained under the system IKAEF(http://www.ikaef.com (http://www.ikaef.com/)) for a couple of years, after a time i got to know a really good practioner within the kali sikaran art (http://www.kalisikaran.com (http://www.kalisikaran.com/)) and began to train for him. Not that i wanted to lose contact and the good training that I got from the guys in Norrköping i started to learn Modern Arnis for them(http://www.wmarnis.com) and i have had the good fortune to meet datu tim hartman several times and i hope it to be many more.

I absolutely love the fma arts and i always wants to learn more. The arts made a big change in my life, i finally found some direction and the passion made me realize that there is a bigger picture of life then the one that i saw. I know i haven't train for so long yet, buti hope that it will last a life time.

It looks like this covers many bases--I saw 4 styles listed, of which Kali Sikaran was only one!

Kali Sikaran sounds like a somewhat similar idea to Ric Jornales' Arnis Sikaran (formerly Arnis-Kali- Sipa-Sikaran), but it's hard to know from just reading the web site.

The ikaef system is for people who normaly train some other arts and would like to train fma on the side. The ikaef is also an organisation that has currently 3 or 4 styles connceted to them i think. The ikaef-system has a lot of diffrent influential styles.

It's hard for me to say if there are similaritys to ric jornales arnis sikaran & kali sikaran, though i haven't had the privllige to get any insigth in that art.
