It was just announced that the winner of the 2010 Caine Prize for African Writing is "Stickfighting Days (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stickfighting_Days)" by Sierra Leonean writer Olufemi Terry. The story follows a group of glue-sniffing boys in a dump who fight with sticks.
