Modern Arnis instructor Steve Scott has his picture on pg. E7 of today's NY Times, teaching the martial arts to student Nathan Buffie. The article is here (http://www.nytimes.com/2006/08/03/fashion/03Fitness.html?_r=1&oref=slogin) but doesn't seem to have the picture of Mr. Scott.

He told me about it when I saw him in Buffalo last month. What a great bit of luck--but, he made his own luck in large part by choosing to work with individuals with special needs in the first place.
