What are the rules for the tourney and type of equipment is needed.

The rules are USFMAF rules and the tournament is sanctioned USFMAF event for all live stick fighing, padded stick fighting and knife fighting. The Open divsion empty hands fighting rules are based upon Kun Tao rules. two minute rounds, points given for solid controlled contact. WEKAF type Helmet and hockey or WEKAF gloves are needed for padded stick division and knife with kick and punch, Live stick point & continuous requires a WEKAF type chest protector. Empty hands fighting requires head gear, mouth guard, padded sparring gloves, and padded shoes, crotch guard required, chest protector is optional.
