Hey,

I'm pretty new to Pekiti as well and have only been able to study it in seminars with Tuhon Gaje and Guro Tim Waid, but from what I've seen so far I'm very impressed with the system. Do either of you know of any seminar schedule for Tuhon Gaje because I can't seem to find one anywhere on the internet. Thanks.

My main instructor is Jared Wihongi in Salt Lake City, but I was in Dallas/Ft. Worth last month for a three day camp with Tuhon Gaje and Tim Waid. Great three days, I'm still trying to assimilate about a quarter of what I was exposed to there.

Although I promote Kali Ilustrisimo, I have been fortunate to spend over 20 hrs. of private and semi-private time with GT Gaje. I will continue to do so upon his return to Maryland. I am very pleased with the knowledge he has shared in his knife combatives especially the entries, locking and controlling methods. I have already included some of them in my training and teaching repertoire.

Blindside, say Hi to Jared fro me, We had the pleasure of working together with the internship with Law enforcment and Military in the Philippines. While I consider myself an overall FMA practitioner and have had the pleasure of training other FMA systems to include kali Ilustrisimo from my friends who studied under tatang . I find that PTK suited my temperament and mindset the most. So I studied PTK from 6 different instructors to include Bill Mcgrath, Tom Bisio, Tim Waid, Omar Hakim and some of my Filipino counterparts such as Rommel Tortal, Carlos bros etc. Each one with their own version and unique insights. All along I have also studied under Tuhon himself and find his ingenius ways quite entertaining and thirst quenching in my search to take FMA to higher levels of expression. Is there an old school, new school, new system approach? Just like the ways of the world changes, so has PTK to meet the new challenges. Today I am constantly testing out the nuances to the standards with the advanced version of training and having fun doing it.

visit www.pt-go.com (http://www.pt-go.com) under 2005 schedule for updates on Tuhon's seminars nationwide.

Hello everyone,
I've been a student of PT since the late 80's. Have had the pleasure of being introduce to PT by Steven Young and trained with him for around 4 years. Have trained since 1990 with Omar Hakim, Tim Waid, and Bill McGrath. Have continued my training with Tuhon Bill since. Have been able to attend a few training session with GT Gaje'. As Doug has already stated each has a slightly different perspective and approach yet each also continues to grow and change as does the world. PT is very much an alive art and if it's practitioners maintain an open mind, test the training methods, take the movements apart and throughly understand them and the associated tatics PT will continue.

Yeah,

I just saw that. I'm in the process of bribing my wife so I can attend (buying her a new car). I was looking in my "blue book" and I didn't see the "Contradas" listed? Just the Doble’ Contradas...Are they in the 2nd book?

Hello all, just dropping by reading Tuhon's blogs. We had a great seminar this past weekend in San Jose. The seminar was excellent, filled with great people, positive energy, and fun. Can't wait to go to another one. Last time I looked, there were over 60 plus people viewing just the PTK alone. PTK is definately the biggest thing in this website, no doubt about that.

What's up Ron, and Fellow PTK practitioners. Yeah, Mandrigama is the other John from class. I just read the blog that Guro placed referring to Dekiti Tirsia. Man, he put them on BLAST! How are they going to crawl out of that one?
