The seminar will probably have a strong military and LEO orientation. Those interested in attending should please contact Rob at ronin06@earthlink.net If you are a civilian he may ask you some questions. http://dogbrothers.com/phpBB2/Smileys/default/smiley.gif

I will be available for privates on Monday the 8th and Tuesday the 9th.

Bumping this to the top because we are a week away. My host tells me a good solid crew will be on hand. I am really looking forward to this.

Sounds like an excellent seminar!

Then when you finish, get on I-90 Eastbound.

Follow to the end. You know you'll be there when you see the Boston skyline.

We'll have mat space waiting *hint hint*

Woof All:

Awesome time in Seattle this past weekend.

Most of the time was spent on a blend of Kali Tudo and DLO material, with the Dracula variations such as Dracula brings the Stake, Hammer, and Cross (which is a terrible pun, you need to see it to get it) being used as a vehicle to transmitting the primal essence of certain DLO moves.

A large, very fit corrections officer from a very serious joint (e.g. he is responsible for four guys in there for cannibalism, one of them found with a partially eaten vagina in his pocket-- how would you like to deal with that energy every day you went to work?) was my training partner for the anti-knife section. His understanding of the reality ("last week we had a guy stabbed throught the neck so that it came out the other side so arteries were pumping out both sides of his neck during the rest of the kill which concluded with about 50 stabs") of the prison sewing machine, his excellent athleticism, and his intense interest in the DLO material made him an outstanding training partner for my teaching, enabling me to communicate the material on a far more physical and deeper level than was usually the case. There were several LEOs and military (including some Canadian brothers in arms) in attendance and overall the group possessed outstanding warrior spirit and training intensity. The icing on the top was that Tricky Dog came down from Vancouver too!

For a change of pace, Sunday morning focused on stickfighting and the DBMA concept of the occupying strike as exemplified by "the Salt & Pepper Variations"

This was one of my most deeply satisfying seminars ever. Deep thanks to my hosts Rob & Stacy. The next seminar will be in about six months. We are looking at dates which work around our children's spring break vacation.

The Adventure continues!
