NYC seminar videos

Hi Folks,

I have two new videos up on my YouTube page. They show Maestro Rico Acosta of Kuntaw Kali Kruzada and myself teaching at a joint PTI/KKK seminar in New York City. http://www.youtube.com/user/TuhonBillMcg

The 5 hour seminar had an interesting format. Maestro Acosta would show a Kuntaw Kali Kruzada technique and then I would show something similar from Pekiti-Tirsia.
The students seemed to really enjoy this format and I got to see some new material, which is always a treat for me.

I want to thank the Acosta brothers for inviting me to this seminar. Their hospitality and camaraderie were deeply appreciated.

Hi Folks,

I'll be in Manhattan again on the 15th as part of the FMA East Coast Gathering. Here are the details:


5th East Coast FMA Gathering

This is an informal gathering of Kali Eskrima Arnis practitioners in Manhattan, to help build camaraderie in the local FMA community and increase general awareness and appreciation of other FMA styles/systems. No fighting or Politics.

The gathering will be held at Fighthouse, a martial arts studio located near MSG/Penn Station Fighthouse


DATE: Saturday, August 15th

TIME: 12AM-7PM

LOCATION:

Fighthouse
122 West 27th St. (2nd Flr.)
Manhattan

COST: $10 entrance fee to cover cost of hourly rental.

There will be 6 1/2 hrs of instruction from different styles.

Thanks for coming into the city to do the seminar with my brother Tuhon Bill, and staying afterwards to have dinner with us.

All of my students had a great time at the seminar and they really enjoyed all of the techniques and drills that you covered.

The videos look great, thanks for posting them on your You Tube channel. Hopefully we can do another joint seminar next year.
