Has anyone tried one of these? I like the basic idea (and really like the kerambit) but it seems like unless it was custom-made it'd never have the right size grip to make it comfortable.

Examples of the type of knife I'm talking about (first one from here (http://www.ironmountainknives.com/p_pop_magnumfighter.htm), second one the Fist Fighter Modified Karambit):

That's a Zach Witson design I believe. I'm not real big on the 2nd ring cuz of the sizing issue, as you pointed out. Really, I don't feel that it adds much to the knife anyway.

Yeah, that's where I first came across it. Interesting idea, but...I'll have to play with one.

http://www.fmatalk.com/images/editor/separator.gifI'm not sure I'd like it...although I'd prefer to try it before passing judgement.

Looks a too gimicky and too fumbly for me. A friend of mine in RI is trying to bring Zach Whitson up here once or twice a year to teach his Counterpoint system, maybe I'll have a chance to try it them :)

Zach's a pretty good guy. I like his other knife designs better though.
