Who here thinks pekiti knife came from Sayoc kali.

Ive been hearing this for awhile now.

What do you think?

are you sure you don't mean the otherway round ? as I've heard a few discussions on whether Sayoc came from PTK. What the answer is ? I'm not sure.

Pekiti knife did not come from Sayoc knife - and no one with any years in either system bothers to join any "duck season/rabbit season" debates about which came first.

Your time might be better spent joining the various "datu" arguments that are making the rounds. Again.

Or we could spend some time debating lineages...As if most Filipino martial artists cgaff.

Good point Steve. I don't train in either, but from what I know both are excellent systems.

I have heard the Sayocs trained with Tuhon Gaje when they were 14 years old. Can't see how a 14 year old would teach a Grandmaster anything.
