Congrats Tim! ASLET is definitely a great opportunity to get exposure in the LE arena. With the creation of our new Professional Services line (TAC-Trainer), we will be at next year's ASLET show. Another great organization for LE training is ILEETA (International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association) . Last year they had over 600 trainers show up at the conference. This year, TAC-Trainer is a Corporate Sponsor and will be presenting a "Use of Force" training segment focusing on Safety Equipment.

We know the head of the ILEETA personally, I will try and get you some information about next year's event.

ASLET used to be the big name for law enforcement training before ILETTA was brought into existance.. The training programs covered in ILEETA are more applicable and recognized in the development of standardization of applications taught in the Law enforcement trainers field over the last few years.. One of my training partners in the states have given training seminars there several times over the last few years.. His knife awareness program has been a real success by several agencies and personnel who attend the conference.. But this is just my individual opinion from a trainer of law enforcement personnel on a full time basis..

You have to be vetted as being qualified as a law enforcement trainer to be able to present a program to ILEETA. One of my students has been a part of the subject matter experts that have been presenting his programs over the last few years.. ILEETA has a serious vetting program and to present there, you have to be recommended and approved to present a program
