Ulak Blades?

I've seen one of the blades that was brought by one of the arnis student and he said it is a Ulak blade (curved blade almost looks like a cross of a brass knuckle and Indian katar). He said it is a legitimate weapon but it looks like a fantasy blade to me ( the chronicles of Reddick video game- i saw it in goggle images) , can't seem to find history about it in any site or book. Does anyone know the history of such a blade/dagger?

Nope, looks to me like it's just fantasy weapon. But I could be wrong.
