I learned last night that Guro George Brewster passed away in his sleep Monday night.

Those of us who have had the opportunity to meet him know his passion for the FMA and the dedication he gave to his students.

He will be greatly missed by the martial community.

Guro Brewster will Be missed. I met him on a few ocassions he was a teacher who was not afraid to get in the ring and get dirty and was always learning. He was a true Kali man. The FMA community shounld never forget this mans love of the art. He will be missed but not forgoten.

I met Guro George through a friend who trained with our Pekiti group. He brought me out to Peter's Park in Boston and I trained a few times there. Guro George was very motivating, 80+ years and out there swinging and banging sticks in any weather (sun, rain, snow hot cold..) But he was also down to earth and humble and was very easy to talk to and learn from.
His passing was a great loss to the FMA community.
