Hello everyone,
I was wondering if there are any instructional videos or books covering flexible weapons techniques (panyo, etc.).
Thanks a lot in advance,
Dmitry

If you mean specifically Lameco based, then I would say no. I have seen PG Sulite doing some panyo stuff during a seminar (which I have on video), but other than that, nothing else.
However, if you mean any author of any style, I think you might get quite a few nice things from Scott Homscheck's DVD he did for Paladin Press.

Dear Gagimilo,
Thanks a lot for your response.
I did not mean specifically Lameco. Just read the PG Sulite included some material from Simaron style to Lameco that he found very interesting.

Dmitry,
Hello, yes in Lameco Eskrima; Practical Self-Defense (1 & 2) PG Sulite covers quite a few uses of the panyo against knife which he learned from Simaron style.
PG Sulite actually had us train this material using the panyo, neck-tie, belt, t-shirt and plastic bag against a knife. Basically anything that is somewhat flexible can be used in this manner. I hope that this helps answer your question.
Go well, ciao.
Guro Dave Gould.

My instructor, Guru Ken Pannell, has a very good video on the subject. It's more from an Indonesian perspective but it is excellent material nonetheless. You can order it at http://asianfightingarts.com/merchandise.php
There's also a clip of him beating the tar out of me & one of my peers - flexible weapon work at the end of the clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hx67huJv66k
Also, I covered it some in one of the workshops available in this DVD package: https://www.createspace.com/Store/ShowEStore.jsp?id=253720
There's an excerpt from this one on YouTube at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fnsFjufJB50
Ron Balicki also has a good video on the subject at: http://www.ronbalicki.com/video_srng.htm
Flexible weapons is one of my favorite areas of training :D
