Social Groups?

What are the group memberships for? Is this feature only for supporting members? How do you use it (there's always "No Groups to Display")?

I don't know (i'm a supporting member and i do not see it either), i guess there are just no groups to join. I'm not sure if members just can start one.

Everyone can participate in them, only Supporting Members can start one. They are similar to MySpace and Facebook Groups.
