Hello everyone My name is Wilma and I am a Balintawak student under Master Rico Raagas Carino in Cagayan de Oro City. I am a new student but training hard 12 hours each week. Thanks Arnisador, your right but remember Balintawak's founder Grand Master Venancio Bacon was only 157 cm tall and weighed about 54kgs and he beat everyone who tested his stick!

Hi Wilma, this is Ritche (a fellow Balintawak student from Tagoloan). Thanks for sharing your video with Master Rico. I met Master Rico in 2002 in the Capistrano St. school. Hopefully I could stop by your club and maybe can train also the next time I go home to CDO. I heard the club now is at Kauswagan?

Glad you like the video thanks. Yes the club is now located at Zone ll Kauswagan. Nag train pud ka on 2002 with Master Rico? I like it there I am new but it's easy to learn the steps. Bun og lang hinuon ginagmay...hehe

Unfortunately I wasn't able to train that time. When I came back, the club is no longer in Capiztrano and didn't know where it got moved. I ended up training with Bobot Ortiz for a little bit. And then ended up training with Robert Abecia when I went home last 2006. Inig ulit nako sunod, definitely I'll stop by your club.

Good luck sa imo search for a Balintawak Arnis gym in Cebu. Naa man siguro diha daghan, maybe you just have to ask around some more lang diha.
