In a story on a Filipino working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a mention of the Sikaran Brotherhood Saudi Arabia that he founded. "Meanwhile, the martial arts enthusiasts of Sikaran were also promoted to the rank of black belt."

FILIPINO Grandmaster/Hari Osias C. Banaag added another feather to his cap after he was awarded by the prestigious U.S.A. Martial Arts Hall of Fame as the ‘Philippine Grandmaster of Sikaran’ held recently at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Los Angeles, California.

A 10th degree red-belt, Banaag’s rise to prominence in martial arts was when he established the Sikaran-Arnis Academy in Delano, California back in 2003, which ultimately expanded the Sikaran globally.
