Do you have a drill that you do that may be unique ? something that you do that yo use for warm up or to stay limber or maybe just something that you don't think others do

I generally do Wang Ji Wu's Xing Yi Nei Gong - which is a Nei Gong specifically designed to be done prior to practicing Xing Yi Quan, I also have found that it works wonders for loosening up the kinks prior to FMA training and for other martial arts as well.
You may be able to find it used at Amazon.com, etc. or maybe at Plum Blossom Press. It's edited by Dan Miller and Tim Cartmell.

I use side-stepping in large and small circles and call off "switches" to develop the students ability to redirect his footwork and build explosiveness. The "switches" become more frequent as the 3-min. round closes in an effort to create an almost cradling motion.

I have had my students stay inside a circle when sparring and also had the stay inside the circle as I beat patterns on the floor (at their feet) and they had to triangle step away from the attack while staying in the circle

ever tried tieing two of your students hands togeather and ( like hand cuffs ) and have them fight each other or better still have them defend against a group attacking them
OK...so don't laugh at me because of my Tagolog Romanization...
But at a seminar with Walter "Hock" Hochheim, he showed us a variation of Hubad Ligit Lubad (If that is not how the drill is spelled please feel free to correct me as I can't find two people to agree on how it is said much less spelled), where both people were laying down on their backs and doing the drill with their feet!
"Whatever you can do standing you can do from any other position with a little bit of inovation and a whole lot of stuborn..."
It was fun and really weird to see it done like that.

That drill is a lot of fun with the feet. He also had us do the drill with the feet and with the other person doing the hands. And then the one person gets past the hands into grappling. Although it sounds wierd to do this with the feet it heps build coordination with the feet as well as kicks passes etc. etc.
I think it was Higot Hubud Lubud, to tie and untie. I once asked Remy what it meant and he said "naked" then he rephrased his answer and explained to untie as to reveal.

Cool...Thanks for the Tagolog refresher. Pretty much the only thing I can say with any accuracy in tht language is "Hey baby, what are you doing later?" Lol.
Sounds like fun. Thanks for the reply.

Walt
