Dear Tuhon, Elders, Guros, etc.
I was wondering if there are any Pekiti-Tirsia instructors in the RI and or Southern, MA, who are accepting new students.
If someone could indicate who might be arround - I would be most greatful.
Happy New Year!
Respectfully,
Daniel.

Grand Tuhon Gaje,
My appologies should you happen to read this. In typing to fast for my own good, I emitted "Grand" and referred to you as "Tuhon".
Redundantly, if there are any practicionners in the Southern MA or RI area please get in contact with me as I'm interested to learn if you're taking new students.
If you have any questions in regards to who I am, I have former teachers who will offer a "character reference" on my behalf. Thanks in advance.
Happy New Year Everyone!
Respectfully,
Daniel.

Guro Shultz is in East Greenwich Ri and holds training there aty the Battle ground training Center. He teaches Pekiti-Tirsia several times during the week. He is very knowledgeable and has a very long time training in the FMA.

I haven't met Guru Shultz but I've heard good things about him. As he is approximately 25 minutes from your location and Wes is approximately and hour and 15 minutes away, it sounds like a no-brainer to me if travel time is an issue for you. However, I'd check Wes out if you're ever in the Boston area: he's an exemplary teacher.
PM me if you have any more questions regarding Pekiti Tirsia Kali.
Best,
Steve

There is a Pekiti Tirsia instructor closer to you in Newport. He is in North Kingston, right over the bridge. His name is James Anonuevo. I have trained with him and shultz. After reviewing the both of them i had decided to go with James Anonuevo's school. He was certified by Tuhon Gaje in the Phillipines. If you would like some good ptk training go and see him. His web site is alittle under construction but you can go to it anyway. http://www.fcaa-ri.com . Hope this helps you.

I am a lurker. Have been for a while. Since this thread popped back up out of obscurity I’ll play.
Checked out both, found guro Schultz more to my likeing. Felt he was great at getting you to understand the concepts and better able to apply the material. He is absolutely scary when it comes to application..mean that as a compliment. Best thing I can say is try out everyone and go with the person you are comfortable with. I have heard good things about Wes tasker, check him out to. There is also another guy called Master V. Don’t know much about him.
You already have james’ web site. You can get a hold of guro william at www.mongrelcombativearts.com (http://www.mongrelcombativearts.com/)
