I know that the circle is used in true Sikaran tournaments, can anyone explain the history of the circle?
Was it just an easy thing to draw on the ground ?
What are the normal circle sizes?
Could the circle go way back in history to a time when people where held as prisoners and had to fight for their lives with in a small circle? Why or why not

I've heard of this, but I suppose a lot of cultures drew circles for fighting rings. Does it have any special significance?

The circle probably started from being surrounded on all sides by onlookers. Seems to me whenever a fight breaks out, onlookers usually surround the fighters in a 360 degree fashion. It would really be odd for bystanders to form into a square, triangle, or star pattern... :8p:

World Combat Leauge!!!

I'll agree with the above, probably started because of onlookers.
