When registering, it tells me the birthday is optional...then insists that I enter it.

On the User CP, you can reset the birthday to null...but it won't accept the change. Maybe the option shouldn't be there if it's not acceptable to use it?

Can you fix it so my birthday is July 1, 1987? This being 40 thing is starting to wear thin.

You can set the date here however you like....as to the real date, thats between your mom and you. :)
