He will probably say "You'll poke your eye out kid", haha...just tell him you are highly trained FMArtist and because of that you need the finest filipino fighting blade around, which is exactly what you get out of Ron's blades.
Truthfully Ron's stuff is great. Whether you get a blade or set of sticks, the quality is unmatched.
