Apparently I missed the memo back in 1988. In the United States, October is ... Filipino American History Month.

Now that I know, I'll make it a point to celebrate and share my heritage! I guess its serendipitous because I'll be rank testing on October 25th at a Kabaroan seminar with GM Estalilla and Associate GM Bansuelo. :)

I think it would be great if the WW2 Filipino American Veterans were recognized for their efforts and received their due! Sadly, too many have since left this world and too few now recall their sacrifice!

Albuquerque, NM has a park that recognizes WWII service in the Phil., at least...right on Route 66.
