Is the description adequate/accurate? Where I take JKD we have a much more limited stick and knife curriculum, plus some dumog.

It more or less would depend on the JKD instructor. My understanding of it is that if they have limited exposure to FMA or if they find that it is of limited use to themselves then they'd teach less FMA.

I think the answer would have to be "it depends" - which strikes me as fitting perfectly into the general philosophy of JKD. My instructor includes most the areas of study that you list in the forum description but not all of them - classes don't explicitly include staff, Sikaran or Silat. on the other hand, he does include some elements of muay thai....but our curriculum is still very clearly inosanto/lacoste blend kali/jkd.
