Bonds hits No. 756 to break Aaron's home run record (http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news;_ylt=Aue_N7aS5Ygu7aDd0nCLoOIRvLYF?slug=ap-bonds-756&prov=ap&type=lgns)
Feh. Hank Aaron was a great player and is a great role model. Barry Bonds is...Barry Bonds. Hammerin' Hank is still No. 1 in my book!

Agreed!!! Let's even leave steroids out of the equation.... 17 of the pitchers Aaron hit home runs off of are n the hall of fame, Bond has hit them off of only 5 potential Hall of famers the rest came off of the "average" pitcher... Oh, and how much longer is a season now than it was when Aaron played?

Yes, absolutely! Steroids barely figure into it. There are enough other reasons to be doubtful of this accomplishment!
Still, after what happened with Roger Maris, I would not want the entry asterisked. That's not good for the sport. But to me...Hank Aaron is till the Home Run King.

Sorry but I found it very hard to get excited about this.

Can I add in few...?
I am not a baseball fan but I find Hank Aaron the best hitter of all time. I can't seem to see if Mr. Bonds an all-time slugger with all those steriods... would he be a good player if hadn't use steriods?

I'm sure he would have still been good, but he wouldn't be a power hitter like he is now...those hits would be dropping as singles and doubles, not home runs.
