Hi all,
This is my first post. I'm from Omaha, Nebraska and have trained in martial arts since 1983. In the last few years I've become really interested in Filipino martial arts and look forward to learning a lot here.

What a great background! You have a varied knife background...how does the ninjutsu knifework compare to the WWII/Modern Combatives and FMA knifework?

Thanks. The ninjtsu knife work has a distinct flow to it and is practiced with a slower tempo than the other arts. I have not done formal ninjutsu in many years as Bussey was moving away from that system back in the 80's. The combative knife work is functional and gross motor driven. It is offense driven in that you are counterattacking an adversary versus simply defending.
