I can vouch personally for Bill's work and that his trainers are all
first class! I use mine every day! Heck one even made a brief
appearance in my latest Video CD! http://www.fmatalk.com/images/icons/icon14.gif The best trainers in the
business at a reasonable price. What more could you want.http://www.fmatalk.com/images/icons/icon6.gif

6061-t6

For the rest of us...what does that mean?

6061 T6 is an aircraft-grade aluminum. tough as heck (for aluminum) and takes an anodized finish like nobody's business! Microtech uses it for their knife handkes. Good stuff!

For the rest of us...what does that mean?

Nothing really... It's kinda like wondering or knowing the properties of different
blade steels. Some care, some care too much, and some don't care at all.:D

Like Cutsandbruises said it's just one of the tougher aluminum alloys.
I use it because it takes a beating and looks good doing it.

Barong is 19"
Taliban is 18 1/4"
Matulis is 17 1/4"
Parang is 22 1/2"
Kriss Bolo is 20 1/2"
Kriss Daga is 13 1/2"

I will sell the lot for 275 and pick up the shipping.
Or they can be purchased individually.

I am making another set of these and donating them to the Sulong event in Chicago.

I will have more with me so you can also buy one there.

Bill makes some good training equipment.. He made me a bowie trainer off of a design that I developed and when I received it when I arrived in the states, it was well worth the price...

It has been used in several demos and seminars when I was stateside, and it took a pounding without chipping or even denting..

go with the stuff that Bill makes, and you will have tools that compliment your training program

Bill's trainer's are the best and the price is better than what other's offer as well! http://www.fmatalk.com/images/icons/icon14.gif

Per a recent request I am offering these custom options.

Add 10 to scale the design up. Longer handle, longer blade? NO PROBLEM!
Add 15 to have oak scales fitted to the blade. Hate cordwraps? NO PROBLEM!

So if you have been looking for truly "custom" work at a reasonably prices look no further.
