Need Some Help Identifying a Sword

OK guys, I can use some help identifying a French made sabre that I have. So far I haven't gotten anywhere trying to identify the manufacturer or the time line. On the blade is stamped

manufacture francaise
d'armes de slltienne

The second letter in slltienne is mis-stamped, so I'm not sure if it's an L, E or some other letter. As soon as I can I will post a photo.
