A question that arose on Wikipedia...Is anyone familiar with the Arnis Nicolas System (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arnis_Nicolas_System), which appears to be a variation of Modern Arnis headed by Garitony C. Nicolas? Is it a large group? Which organization is the "Modern Arnis Association of the Philippines"?

Modern Arnis Mano-Mano Filipino Martial Arts was first registered by Punong Lakan Nicolas year 1995. The Arnis Nicolas System teaches the classical, traditional and modern way of teaching. Arnis Nicolas System promotes the Modern Sinawali and the Pang-oran System or the ARKIBOS.

Arnis Nicolas System is the system of G. Nicolas, a student of GM Ernie Presas and seperated from him in late 1990's after the group of Dulay and Anajao broke away from GM. He is a TKD practitioner before and schoolmate of Junjun Presas, son of GM Ernie. Then was introduce to Modern Arnis.Presently he is really active in promoting his system of modern arnis.
