I really enjoyed this film! From the opening montage (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-_BdNK0_D0) (updated, without the shadow-nude dancing girls) and the Chris Cornell theme song, to the final scene, it was enjoyable, if a bit too long. (The poker sequences in particular could have been shortened, though I didn't mind them.) It was truly grittier and more 'real' feeling than the predecessors. A big thumbs up for Daniel Craig as Bond.

The blade usage (http://www.fmatalk.com/showthread.php?p=7987#post7987) was more realistic than usual, which I liked. There was also, at the beginning, a fascinating chase sequence. It took me a while to recognize that I was watching parkour (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parkour)!

This is from the only Bond book that I've ever read, and it followed reasonably closely, though updated to today and with numerous small changes. There are continuity issues with the previous movies, but that didn't bother me (it is supposed to be a 'reboot' anyway).

I really like it, I thought it fit, and it made sense and did not insult me and flowed real well.

Bond made mistakes and was not afraid to admit it and also willing to admit he was learning along the way.

I liked it.

I thought it was the best Bond film yet. Hopefully they will continue on in this manner with a character which is more close to the way Ian Fleming wrote him.

Bond 22 (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0830515/)

Continuing on from the events of Casino Royale, Bond 22 is reportedly going to be based on Ian Fleming short story "Risico," which appeared in his book For Your Eyes Only.
