I think this is a pretty neat idea, an overnighter. It would be a neat idea to continue the seminars with children / teens as well, another way to keep kids off the street and teach them something useful.

This is a great concept. It will foster camaraderie and the informal setting will probably facilitate information eschange. GM Tortal has a formidable reputation.

Very interesting concept. I'm just wondering about the sleep depravation factor.

If any of you are anywhere near the area, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND attending this seminar!!! The 10 dollar training fee is like getting something good for nothing. Don't take it for granted guys! I wish I was nearby because I would have jumped at the chance. I envy anyone going to train at this session.

No one is required to stay the whole time :)
We aren't a high-pressure place, everyone does what they can do, as they can do it.

Thanks for the props, Daniel! :)
It will be a good time. Our school has several instructor-level students that have schools of their own. Our student talent base ranges from Jiu Jitsu to Okinawan Karate to World War II hand-to-hand combat techniques. I don't know who exactly will be teaching other than GM Tortal, but from what I have heard, the last 3 events have been a great success.
If anyone wants to grab a last-minute flight to BOS (Boston, MA) or MHT (Manchester, NH), I can arrange airport transportation. ;)

Two more days!
In addition to the refreshments, Guro Mike always has plenty of fresh Sumatran coffee on hand. :D I think we may go through a few pots of it. ;)
